National Cadet Corps -
NCC was first by started in 1666 in Germany The NCC in India was raised on 15 July 1948 under the National Cadet Corps Act
1948. It can be traced back to the "University Corps" Which was created under Indian Defense Act 1917, with the objective
to make up for the shortage in the Army. Today the NCC has an enrolled Strength of more than 13.5 lakh's cadet and it basically
comprises of two divisions of all the three services ie the Senior Division (SD) for boys and Senior Wing (SW) for girls.

Aim of NCC -
- To develop qualities of development of character, comradeship,
discipline, secular outlook, sprit of Adventure, sportsmanship, ideals of selfless services
among the youth of the country.
- To create human resources of organized, trained and motivated youth,
to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available for the service of Nation.
- To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces.
NCC in CSN College -
The NCC Unit in CSN College Hardoi was started in 1972. College
NCC sanctioned by 63 UP Battalion NCC Lucknow University, Lucknow with 55 cadet strength (SD and SW).
